Excellence Receives a Centraide Award
A campaign that hit cruising speed

On May 1, 2010, Excellence had the great honour to humbly accept the “Solidarity" award from Centraide in the category of First Workplace Campaign. The award was received with pride, since it lauds the social engagement of Excellence and its employees toward those less fortunate.

The campaign was conducted in October 2009 by the Excellence Organizing Committee, which scheduled a range of activities and seminars throughout the campaign to raise awareness. The goal was to help employees realize the cold, hard facts that many households in Greater Montreal─a region home to almost half the province’s population─face due to economic, cultural and social poverty. Mass participation by staff (67%) doubled by a corporate donation meant that every contribution, great or small, added up to a very successful fund-raising campaign. 

In their commitment to social equity, Excellence and its employees intend to make the Centraide campaign a day-to-day philosophy.
